If you sand too much add more, if you add to much sand more. as you get more experience you get more accurate with your application and the easier it will be.
i think the most important part is that you enjoy doing it. if you dont like it you wont ever get good at it. and if you do really like it then even the learning process is enjoyable.
if you find yourself getting frustrated take a break, i assure you it wont be as easy as it seemed in this vid. just remember practice makes perfect.
i havent gone to school for it. fortunately when i was in high school i had access to a lot of the materials for free and i was always ahead in class so i got to do body work on my friends cars as well as my own so i got quite a bit of practice with a couple types of body fillers which is nice. and i lot of diy and how to’s and even tv shows to be comfortable with fiberglass. im good enough for what i need.
you cant have to much practice or patients. the best part of body fillers are forgiving

I love the set up, awesome job!! i do have 1 question why have a mac mini and a head unit? if you have a mac with itunes why have an ipod too?
the reason i ask is i want to do something similar except i want to completely eliminate the head unit if possible. and use the mac to run audio/video, and a stand alone ecu (in-car tuning), and possibly the HVAC.
i just wanna make sure im not missing something.
